Job summary

BrightStar Care of St. Croix Valley is hiring compassionate caregivers (CNA/HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care across Washington and St. Croix Counties. You will work flexible schedules, with weekend morning/evening shifts and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
• Minimum of one year caregiving experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and safety supervision.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Help with light household tasks and meal preparation.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing.
• Follow care plans while maintaining client dignity and independence.

Responsibilities:
