Job summary

Senior Helpers of Greater Chicago is seeking caregivers to provide in-home care across the greater Chicagoland area. The role offers flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, day/evening/overnight opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

Caregivers will assist with personal care, companionship, mobility support, and daily living activities. Training and career advancement opportunities are provided, with competitive pay in the $15–$18 per hour range.

Qualifications

• Experience in flex/agency assignments and facility-based settings is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to different care environments and client needs.

Qualifications:

• Experienced caregiver with a strong background working in flex/agency assignments and facility-based settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and private care is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to different care environments, client needs, and care plans
• Skilled in providing personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, and support with daily living activities
• Knowledgeable in safety practices, infection control, and resident dignity and confidentiality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance for transportation to clients and facilities
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• With a negative Tuberculosis Test
