Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena is seeking an experienced QLS/Caregiver in Assisted Living to assist residents with personal care and related nonprofessional services. Shifts include 7:00 am-7:30 pm and 7:00 pm-7:30 am, with full-time and part-time positions available and every other weekend required.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care, foot care, and vital signs, plus bedmaking, laundry, and meal assistance while delivering compassionate, hospitality-driven care to

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA and Non-CNA welcome to apply.
• Post-offer background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with a high level of personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, and vital signs per policy.
• Make beds, launder resident clothing, and assist with meal times.
• Provide planned activities and respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.
• Provide services essential to personal needs and comfort of residents.
• Follow community policies and utilize program components offered by the community.

Responsible for various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort ofresidents. Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.

Shifts needed days/nights - 7:00 am-7:30pm and 7:00 pm-7:30 am

• 12 hour shifts - 7:00am - 7:30pm and 7:00 pm-7:30 am

The Role:

• Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed, complete resident's laundry as assigned, assist residents with meal time.
• Provide activities as planned/directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Provide emergency care within scope of practice.
• Utilize special program components offered by the community.
• Provide services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort ofresidents.
• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care.
• Be familiar with and follow community policies.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Salary: $18 per hour
