Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena in Illinois seeks an experienced QLS/Caregiver in Assisted Living to provide high-quality personal care for residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assistance with daily living activities. You will support comfort and dignity in a warm, hospitality-driven environment.

Shifts are 12 hours (7:00am–7:30pm and 7:00pm–7:30am), with full-time and part-time opportunities. Benefits include 401(k), health, life and vision insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA and Non-CNA applicants welcome to apply.
• Post-offer background check including references required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs and weight checks.
• Make beds, launder resident clothing, and assist with meals as assigned.
• Provide activities as planned and respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.
• Provide emergency care within scope of practice and follow community policies.
• Be familiar with and follow policies and ensure high quality personal care for residents.

Responsible for various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort ofresidents. Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.

Shifts needed days/nights - 7:00 am-7:30pm and 7:00 pm-7:30 am

The Role:

• Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed, complete resident's laundry as assigned, assist residents with meal time.
• Provide activities as planned/directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Provide emergency care within scope of practice.
• Utilize special program components offered by the community.
• Provide services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort ofresidents.
• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care.
• Be familiar with and follow community policies.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Salary: $18 per hour
