Job summary

Vitality Senior Living in Saint Simons Island, GA, is looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join us at the Vitality Living Frederica Community. In this part-time role, you will assist residents with daily activities and provide emotional support.

Your responsibilities will include developing service plans in coordination with the Wellness Director and participating in necessary trainings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication and be at least 18 years of age. Join us in creating vibrant experiences!

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements
• Part-Time
• Shift: 6:45pm-7:15am
• CPR is preferred
