Job summary

Vitality Living Overlook in Dallas, GA is seeking a Caregiver to support residents at our Overlook Community. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor emotional well-being, and help implement service plans in a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.

Must be at least 18, able to communicate in English, and ready to meet state health requirements. This is a full‑time role located at our Dallas community, with opportunities to grow within the Wellness team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and emotional health needs as indicated in service plans.
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences.
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
