Job summary

Vitality Living Frederica Community is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to join our Frederica campus. You will manage staffing, coordinate coverage, ensure proper equipment and CPR scheduling, and help maintain safety protocols across shifts.

The role requires clear English communication, at least 21, and ability to use Word and Excel. We offer competitive insurance, PTO, 401k, and flexible scheduling in a vibrant, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Effective English communication both verbal and written.
• Meet state health requirements and maintain certifications.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintains staffing schedules in accordance with current occupancy, creating two-week schedules for LPNs and Personal Care Specialists.
• Coordinates coverage for staff call-offs to maintain optimum staffing ratios.
• Ensure staff have proper equipment and are logged in during shifts; returns equipment after shift.
• Assists with CPR certification tracking and scheduling classes.
• Adheres to emergency protocols, performs CPR and first aid as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Wellness Coordinator Responsibilities

• Maintains staffing schedules in accordance with current occupancy of the community including creating two-week schedules for LPNs and Personal Care Specialists
• Coordinates coverage for staff call-offs to maintain optimum staffing ratios
• Ensure staff have been assigned proper equipment and are logged in during their shift and ensures all equipment is returned at end of shift
• Assists with tracking of CPR certifications of staff and when classes need to be scheduled
• Adheres to emergency protocols, including performing CPR and administering first aid as necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned
