Job summary

Vitality Living Windermere Community is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents in a vibrant senior living setting. The role involves assisting with daily activities, observing health and behavioral needs, and collaborating with the Wellness Director and care team to implement and adjust care plans.

PRN (as needed) position with a focus on dependable, kind service. Candidates must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to meet state health requirements; certifications as required by

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, simple treatments, and emotional health or behavioral issues as outlined in service plans.
• Help develop and revise service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences.
• Observe and report resident problems to the supervising staff.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings as requested.
• Perform additional duties assigned by Wellness Director.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
