Job summary

Appletree Court Assisted Living in Richardson, TX is seeking a Caregiver to join our Vitality Living community. You will assist residents with daily activities, support emotional well-being, and help with routine care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and emotional well-being per service plans.
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by communicating resident needs clearly to the supervisor.
• Observe and report resident issues to supervising staff or designated nurse as applicable.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service trainings, and team meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
