At Peace Healthcare Agency is seeking compassionate Caregivers/Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide one-on-one, non-medical care and companionship in clients’ homes. You help maintain dignity, independence and quality of life while supporting daily routines and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide or similar role is a plus.
• Proof of TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation; if transporting clients, driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maturity, caring nature, punctuality and dependability.
• Must pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one non-medical personal care and companionship in clients' homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety.
• Provide medication reminders according to care plans and transport to medical appointments if needed.
