Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide one-to-one, non-medical personal care and companionship in clients’ homes. You’ll help maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life, with duties spanning ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility support.

We value reliable, caring professionals who can pass background checks and TB testing, and who are committed to serving seniors and adults with disabilities in their home

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of personal care experience.
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, or similar roles is a plus.
• Proof of TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform essential duties.
• Must have reliable transportation; if transporting clients, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one non-medical personal care and companionship in clients’ homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping; laundry; safe home environment.
• Medication reminders according to care plan.
• Transportation to medical appointments and errands as needed.
• Encourage independence and social engagement; support mobility and transfers.

As a Caregiver/PCA, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship to clients in their homes while helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Personal Care

• Toileting and incontinence care
• Dressing and personal hygiene
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Home & Daily Living Support
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry and maintaining a safe environment
• Assistance with daily routines

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist clients with daily activities

• Assistance with ambulation and transfers
• Supporting safe movement throughout the home
• Medication Reminders
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Transportation Assistance
• Transportation to medical appointments
• Assistance with errands and community activities, when applicable

Qualifications
