Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical care and companionship in clients' homes. This role focuses on preserving dignity, independence, and quality of life for seniors and adults with disabilities.

You will perform personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and mobility assistance, with a strong emphasis on safety, empathy, and reliable, punctual service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, Direct Care Worker, or similar role is a plus
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, non-medical support to clients in their homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

Personal Care

• Bathing and grooming
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Dressing and personal hygiene
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Home & Daily Living Support

• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry and maintaining a safe environment
• Assistance with daily routines

Companionship & Support

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist clients with daily activities

Mobility Assistance

• Assistance with ambulation and transfers
• Supporting safe movement throughout the home

Medication Reminders

• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan

Transportation Assistance

• Transportation to medical appointments
• Assistance with errands and community activities, when applicable
