Wallick Senior Living’s The Ashford of Beavercreek seeks a Personal Care Assistant to provide direct resident care from 3pm to 11pm. This part-time role supports residents’ daily living, hygiene, mobility, and engagement, helping them thrive in a compassionate, home-like setting.

You’ll work with a dedicated, employee-owned team guided by care, collaboration, and community values. The position offers $18/hour plus shift differential and benefits after two weeks of employment, with opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification preferred; Nurse Aide Certification a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance to residents.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident/family needs.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and events.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining, and other areas.
• Support safe transfers and repositioning as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Our exceptional PCAs provide direct resident care and strive to give our residents worth and meaning by helping them thrive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as they choose. You will work as part of a team that ensures the residents have a comfortable and safe place to call Home.

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming to include bathing and toileting.
• Answers call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s and / or family needs.
• Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.
• Assists residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Organized and self-motivated to do a great job for our residents
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus
