Job summary

Wallick Communities is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant for The Ashford of Beavercreek in Beavercreek, OH. You will provide direct resident care from 3pm-11pm and help residents thrive in a supportive environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; CPR certification is expected, with Nurse Aide certification a plus. A strong team, competitive benefits, and employee ownership await. Your work makes a meaningful impact daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Organized and self-motivated to serve residents.
• CPR certified; Nurse Aide certification a plus but not required.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Assist with bathing, grooming and incontinence care as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident/family needs.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and events.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining and events.
• Assist with lifting, turning and repositioning as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Our exceptional PCAsprovide direct resident care and strive to give our residents worth and meaning byhelpingthem thrive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as they choose.You will work as part of a team that ensures the residents have a comfortable and safe place to call Home.

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming to include bathing and toileting.
• Answers call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s and / or family needs.
• Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.
• Assists residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Organized and self-motivated to do a great job for our residents
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus
