Job summary

Vitality Living in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist to support residents with daily activities and well-being. You will follow care plans, document changes, and collaborate with licensed staff to deliver gentle, person-centered care.

Requirements include being at least 18, clear English communication, and compliance with state health regulations. This is a part-time role with opportunities for bonuses and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations or facility policy.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and emotional health as outlined in service plans.
• Help develop and revise service plans by communicating resident needs to supervisors.
• Observe and report resident changes to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid as applicable.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training, and team meetings.

Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
