Job summary

Vitality Living is hiring a Caregiver at Restoration at Simpsonville Community. You will assist residents with activities, health tasks, and emotional support per service plans, while reporting changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities, simple treatments, and emotional health issues per service plans.
• Help develop and revise service plans by informing supervisor of resident needs and successful approaches.
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid.
• Attend onboarding and ongoing training and team meetings; participate as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
