Job summary

Exhava Home Care in Solana Beach seeks compassionate caregivers to support older adults at home. You will help with daily activities, provide personal care and companionship, and ensure safety and comfort in clients' familiar surroundings.

This role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and ongoing training. Prior caregiving experience and a valid CA HCA registration are required to join a supportive team dedicated to meaningful, quality care.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience is required.
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• Current TB test or chest X-ray as required by regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and mobility.
• Provide personal care with respect, patience and sensitivity.
• Offer companionship, emotional support and social interaction.
• Prepare meals, assist with hydration and grocery errands as needed.
• Keep home clean and safe; light housekeeping and linen changes.
• Follow care plans and communicate changes to the care team.
• Support dignity, safety and independence at all times.

Exhava Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to support older adults in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes in the Solana Beach area.

If you genuinely enjoy helping others and take pride in providing quality care, this could be a great opportunity for you. Our caregivers play an important role in helping clients maintain their dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life.

You will assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, errands, and other needs based on their individual care plans.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support.
• Provide personal care with respect, patience, and sensitivity to each client's needs.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding when needed, and hydration.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including light housekeeping and linen changes.
• Assist clients with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when required.
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team.
• Promote client dignity, comfort, safety, and independence at all times.
