Job summary

Exhava Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support older adults in their own homes in Solana Beach. You will assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain clients’ dignity and independence in a safe home setting.

We value reliable, patient individuals who can work independently and communicate effectively with the care team. A California HCA registration and willingness to travel up to 30 minutes are required.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience is required.
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray as required by regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support.
• Provide personal care with respect, patience, and sensitivity to each client’s needs.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding when needed, and hydration.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including light housekeeping and linen changes.
• Assist clients with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when required.
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.
• Promote client dignity, comfort, safety, and independence at all times.

Exhava Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to support older adults in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes in the Solana Beach area.

You will assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, errands, and other needs based on their individual care plans.

What You'll Do
