Visiting Angels of Fredericksburg is hiring Companion Care Providers, PCAs, HHAs, CNAs, and Skilled Care Professionals for part‑time and full‑time roles. Join a local team that builds one‑on‑one relationships and delivers compassionate home care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active PCA/NA/CNA certification.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare, home care, or hospitality settings.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• A supportive, compassionate nature with a passion for one‑on‑one client care.
• Ability to pass a state‑mandated background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on assistance with personal hygiene and care (bathing, showering, dressing, and eating).
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers inside and outside the home (e.g., walks, exercise, doctor appointments).
• Administer medication reminders and assist with daily errands.
• Engage clients in meaningful everyday activities and companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in the event of an emergency.
