Job summary

Visiting Angels of Fredericksburg is recruiting for Companion Care Providers, Personal Care Aides, Home Health Aides, CNAs, and Skilled Care Professionals for part-time and full-time roles. Join a nationally recognized team delivering compassionate, one-on-one home-based care.

You’ll help with personal care, meals, mobility, medication reminders, and companionship in clients’ homes, with flexible schedules, paid CEUs, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active PCA/NA/CNA certification.
• 1+ years of healthcare/home care/hospitality experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass state background, references and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene and care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers at home and in community settings.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with errands.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.

• Ability to pass a state-mandated background check, reference check, and drug screen.
