Job summary

Visiting Angels of Fredericksburg is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one home care to clients in Fredericksburg and surrounding areas.

roles include CNAs, HHAs, PCAs and companions, with part-time and full-time opportunities. We offer flexible scheduling, ongoing CEUs, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active PCA/NA/CNA certification/license.
• 1+ year of healthcare, home care, or hospitality experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a state background check, references, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Administer medication reminders and daily errands.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Active certification/license: PCA, NA, or CNA.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare, home care, or hospitality settings.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• A supportive, compassionate nature with a passion for one-on‑one client care.
• Ability to pass a state-mandated background check, reference check, and drug screen.
