Job summary

A home care service provider is seeking compassionate Caregivers to enhance seniors’ lives by providing personal assistance in their homes. The role involves companionship, light cooking, personal care, and support with daily activities for clients. Candidates should have experience caring for the elderly and strong communication skills. This position offers a respectful working environment and flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time experience.
• Proof of valid driver’s license and auto insurance if transporting clients.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning.
• Help clients with personal care including bathing and grooming.
• Remind clients to take their medication.
• Provide transportation for appointments and errands.

We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
