Job summary

HomeWell Care Services FL263 is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team. You will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, providing a variety of non-medical services to help seniors age in place with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time care for geriatric or chronically ill individuals
• Exceptional communication skills are essential
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance if transporting clients

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning
• Assist with bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assist with ambulation and medication reminders
• Provide transportation for appointments and errands

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

QUALIFICATIONS

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
