Job summary

HomeWell Care Services CA305 in Palm Desert, CA, is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support seniors aging in place. You will work one-on-one with clients in home settings, providing non-medical assistance and companionship to improve quality of life.

Qualifications include a CNA or HHA license preferred, or 6 months of caregiving experience. Strong communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time care or 12 months of part-time care for geriatric or chronically ill individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement to clients.
• Assist with light personal care and daily activities as needed.
• Support with bathing, grooming, and toileting routines.
• Remind and assist with medication reminders as required.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and errands when necessary.

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver\'s license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
