Job summary

Lehmeyer Development is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support individuals with disabilities in Multnomah County, OR. This part-time or full-time role offers flexible daytime and evening shifts, with competitive starting pay of $22.00 per hour and opportunities to grow.

You’ll assist with daily living, meals, grooming, and mobility, follow care plans, and document progress. Requirements include 18+, 1+ year care experience, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, a US work

• Own a smartphone.
• Legal U.S. work authorization and background check.
• Driver's license and insurance for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Support Daily Living - assist with meals, bathing, and getting ready for the day.
• Encourage Independence - join members on walks, trips, or community outings.
• Build Life Skills - teach and model everyday skills like cooking and money management.
• Keep Care Plans - follow plans, provide medication reminders, and document progress.

Position: Caregiver

Starting Wage: $22.00 /hour

Location: Multnomah County

Schedules Available:

• Weekdays / Weekends
• Daytime / Evenings
• Part-time & Full-time opportunities

Who We're Looking For

• 18 years or older with 1 or more years of care experience
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
• Own a smartphone
• Legal U.S. work authorization and background check
• Driver's license and insurance for some roles

Behavioral Support Experience
