Job summary

LEHMEYER DEVELOPMENT is seeking compassionate Caregivers in Albany, Oregon, to support individuals with disabilities. Both part-time and full-time roles available, starting wage $22.00 per hour.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, encourage independence, and follow care plans with careful documentation. Benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage, paid time off, 401(k) with match after 90 days, and language reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with 1 or more years of care experience
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
• Own a smartphone
• Legal U.S. work authorization and background check

• Encourage independence through walks, shopping trips, or community outings.
• Build life skills like cooking, managing money, and understanding social cues.

Position: Caregiver

Starting Wage: $22.00/hour

Daytime / Evenings

Part-time & Full-time opportunities

• 18 years or older with 1 or more years of care experience
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
• Own a smartphone
• Legal U.S. work authorization and background check
• Driver’s license and insurance for some roles

• OIS / crisis intervention training
• Pica
• Physical aggressive behaviors

• Impulsivity or safety-awareness challenges

• Trauma-informed care

Medical / Clinical Support Experience

• Medication administration
• G-tube care
• Seizure monitoring and response
• Diabetes care (blood sugar checks, insulin support)
• Mobility support / transfers
• Experience following medical protocols and documentation
