Family Resource Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support the Portland East community and surrounding areas. Shifts run from morning to evening, with flexible scheduling to fit your availability. Training is provided and weekly pay is offered to ensure dependable earnings.

Caregivers help with daily living tasks, companionship, and transportation to appointments, while maintaining client well-being and safety. A driving license and background checks are required.

Formación

• Caregivers with experience in memory care or behavioral care, or willing to train.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a state and national background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.).
• Cooking and/or serving meals.
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom.
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
• Driving clients to the store or appointments.
• Monitoring and reporting on clients' condition.
• Other activities of daily living as assigned.

Family Resource Home Care - Portland East Location

Serving the greater Portland Metro area across Multnomah and Clackamas Counties, including Clackamas, Happy Valley, Troutdale, Gresham, Gladstone, Milwaukee, N Portland, NE Portland, SE Portland, Canby, Molalla, and Fairview

Pay: $23-$25 hr. depending on care given.

Paid training and mileage reimbursement

Current needs

• • Shifts are between 8am-8pm, the more availability you have, the more shifts open to you
• Caregivers with experience in Hoyer's, Memory Care and Behavioral, a plus OR willing to train
• Caregivers comfortable with pets and smokers in home!
• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record to get to client visits
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle required

Additional Information

• Oregon only - If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!
