Discovery Villages at Tampa Palms in Tampa, FL seeks a Care Giver/Medication Technician to enrich residents’ lives through hands-on care and medication administration. You will maintain a safe, home-like environment and provide physical and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living.
• Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting and reporting concerns.
• Monitor and record resident conditions and changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities.
• Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and coordinate with healthcare staff as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs.
