Job summary

Discovery Villages at Tampa Palms is seeking a Care Giver/Medication Technician to enrich residents’ lives through hands-on care, medication administration, and supportive services in a safe, home-like environment.

The role includes responding to call bells, maintaining infection control, and communicating care needs with families and healthcare staff. PRN with weekend shifts and a pay rate of $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision for residents, assisting with activities of daily living.
• Administer and observe medications following the Six Rights of Medication Pass and document appropriately.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities.
