Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Woodstock is seeking Caregivers/Med Techs to support residents’ daily living activities, assist with medications as allowed, and complete progress notes. Shifts available: 2pm–10pm and 10pm–6am. A caring, team-oriented environment with a family-centered approach awaits you.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver or med tech
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
