Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Brentwood is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and ensure a safe, dignified environment. You will assist with dressing, bathing, meals, and medications as allowed by state regulations, documenting progress as needed.

Current caregiver training or state‑specified certification is required or you must obtain it; CNA license or two years of experience; CPR/First Aid within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
