Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Auburn seeks a compassionate Senior Living Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and care within a welcoming community. You will assist with dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care, and help manage medications as permitted by state rules.

Applicants should have caregiver training or CNA credentials, plus CPR/First Aid eligibility within 30 days. A reliable team member with a service-minded attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

The pay range for this position listed above will vary based on qualifications, experience, education/additional licensure, and other objective factors. Hiring at the maximum is not typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
