Overview

Evergreen Village, a personal assisted living community in Prescott, AZ is now hiring excellent CAREGIVERS & MED TECHS with a passion for helping seniors. We are looking to hire for the following shifts/roles: Assistant Caregiver, Caregiver, or Med-Tech (10 pm to 6 am, starts at $18/hour); Float Caregiver Med-Tech (Full Time, must be willing to work all shifts $24/hour); PRN Certified Caregiver Med-Tech (As needed, $28/hour).

Responsibilities

A day in the life of an Evergreen caregiver can include:

• Being the first smile our residents will see today.
• Assisting a resident with their daily shower and helping them get dressed.
• Providing reminders that exercise class starts at 10am.
• Talking with a resident about their weekend while escorting them to breakfast.
• Delivering medications to residents based on their physician orders.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan
• Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms in a timely manner
• Demonstrate empathy and develop caring rapport with residents. Promote resident independence and self-care
• Deliver care and services in accordance with individual service plan for all assigned residents
• Maintain accurate and complete records of care delivered
• Complete incident reports accurately and timely. Understand policies pertaining to safety and infection control and demonstrate practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses. Promote a clean, orderly, and safe environment. Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff to keep the community and resident property clean
• Recognize, respond to, and report concerns in resident's environment to ensure safety and comfort of residents

Qualifications
