Always Family HomeCare in McLean, VA seeks a compassionate caregiver for in-home companion care. You will assist with meals, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and social activities, while ensuring safety and comfort. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

The role starts at 18 USD/hour, with a raise to 20 USD/hour after 6 months. Holiday pay at time-and-a-half and referral bonuses for caregivers and for clients are offered.

Qualificações

• One year of documented experience as a Caregiver (HHA/PCA certificate or current CNA license).
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Current Driver's License
• Current TB test
• Immunizations to include COVID-19

Responsabilidades

• Follows the instructions of the PAS Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
• Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
• Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client’s home or any significant observations regarding the client.
• Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
• Report client complaints to the PAS Supervisor.
• Report abnormal findings in client’s conditions as observed and per care plan to RN

Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide companion care for a younger client to assist with management of pain and depression. She is able to accomplish all ADLs without assistance. Client is seeking assistance with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation in the client's vehicle. She has a cat and dog, and would sometimes request help walking the dog. Companion care could also include conversation, card games, and accompanying the client to social events. Caregiver must possess a current driver license and impeccable driving record.
