Job summary

Always Family HomeCare in McLean, VA is seeking a compassionate weekend Caregiver to assist an elderly gentleman with personal care, conversation, and light activities. Shifts are 8am-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with a friendly family environment and simple electronic scheduling via smartphone.

Requirements include at least one year of caregiving experience, CNA is a plus, authorization to work in the United States, background check, valid driver's license, TB test, and Covid-19 and flu

Qualifications

• One year of caregiver experience.
• CNA certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follows RN Supervisor instructions in providing personal assistance services.
• Assist with hygiene (bathing, oral care, dressing).
• Assist with food preparation; light housekeeping, laundry, dishes.
• Observe and report safety hazards or significant observations.
• Attend staff meetings and annual in-services; orientation for new employees.
• Report client complaints to RN Supervisor.
• Report abnormal client findings as per care plan.

Job Summary

Are you a compassionate Caregiver available to work weekends? Elderly gentleman in McLean needs assistance with personal care, conversation, and playing games on the weekends. Family requires one Caregiver, shifts are 8am-2pm Saturday and Sunday.

Benefits:

Job Responsibilities

Must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

• Follows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
• Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
• Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.
• Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
• Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.
• Report abnormal findings in client's conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: One year of experience as a Caregiver. CNA is highly desirable.
• Requirements:
