Apploi is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide companion care for an elderly lady in Herndon, VA. The role requires driving the client to appointments, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility monitoring.

Shifts are 8 hours, Monday–Friday, around 10am–6pm, with a $500 bonus payable as $100/month for five months. Qualifications include at least one year of caregiver or CNA experience, US work authorization, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and immunizations including

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to transport the client.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Current Driver's License.
• Current TB test.
• Immunizations to include COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Follows instructions of PAS Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
• Assist with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Assist with food preparation; serve food, run errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
• Observe and report safety hazards in the client’s home and significant observations about the client.
• Attend staff meetings and complete 12 hours of annual in-services; participate in orientation for new employees.
• Report client complaints to the PAS Supervisor.
• Report abnormal findings in client conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.

Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide companion care for a pleasant elderly lady living in Herndon, VA. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive client to appointments and on errands. Must be willing to cook meals following a recipe and willing to do laundry. Consistency with the same Caregiver is important to this client. She walks with a cane and needs some assistance monitoring mobility for fall prevention. Meal preparation, light housekeeping, some grocery shopping and transportation to appointments and to run errands. She is a very polite and engaging client. Caregiver must have reliable transportation.
