Job summary

Apploi is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist a wheelchair-bound gentleman living at home in Prince William County with ADLs, light housekeeping, and transportation to PT appointments. A reliable vehicle, good communication, and sensitivity to the needs of an elderly client are essential.

The role offers an hourly wage of $17–$21, with potential holiday overtime and referral bonuses. Training is provided via an app-based platform, supporting professional development and on-the-job

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Caregiver.
• Must have CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Current Driver's License.
• Current TB test.
• Immunizations to include COVID-19 and flu strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Follow RN Supervisor instructions in providing personal assistance services.
• Assist with hygiene including bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Help with food preparation, errands, light housekeeping, laundry, and dishes.
• Observe and report safety hazards or client condition changes as per care plan.
• Attend staff meetings and in-services, complete orientation for new employees.

Job Summary

Does it bring you joy to assist the elderly with daily activities? We are seeking a compassionate Caregivers to assist a wheelchair bound gentleman. He lives at home with his wife who has MS. He is looking for a Caregiver who is a good communicator, and who has a vehicle to drive him to PT appointments and assist at home with ADLs and light housekeeping. Preferred schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9am to 1pm to start. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout Prince William County and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities

Must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

• Follows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.


• Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.


• Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.


• Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client’s home or any significant observations regarding the client.


• Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.


• Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.


• Report abnormal findings in client’s conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.

• Experience: Two years of experience as a Caregiver. Must have CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA.
