Job summary

Always Family HomeCare in Arlington is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist an 86-year-old lady at home, who uses a walker and needs help with ADLs, showering, dressing and transfers. She lives with her son and daughter-in-law.

Shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8am to 2pm. The role offers $17–$21 per hour depending on licensing and experience, with time-and-a-half for major holidays, referral bonuses, and app-based training for caregiver development.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Caregiver.
• Must have CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA.
• Hindi speaker is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
• Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
• Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client’s home or any significant observations regarding the client.
• Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
• Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.
• Report abnormal findings in client’s conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.

  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Current Driver's License
  • Current TB test
