Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Hillsboro, OR, seeks a Caregiver Manager to lead and develop our team of caregivers, ensuring quality care and client satisfaction. You will oversee orientation, training, performance reviews, and policy compliance to support staff growth and client outcomes.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition, manage records, and facilitate smooth caregiver onboarding and ongoing development in a dynamic home-care environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or senior care management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to discuss client needs and market insights.
• Engage new caregivers and prep them for their first day prior to orientation.
• Clarify orientation requirements and coordinate with Talent Acquisition.
• Conduct weekly orientation sessions for incoming caregivers.
• Partner with Staffing to provide insights on client/caregiver requirements.
• Facilitate client introductions by accompanying caregivers on their initial shift.
• Deliver ongoing training with individualized sessions and skills labs.
• Ensure compliance by working with Compliance on regulations and caregiver needs.
• Serve as the main contact point for caregiver inquiries and concerns.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations to support development.
• Assist HR with progressive discipline when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of caregiver communications and requests.
• Participate in company meetings and trainings.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently hiring for a Caregiver Manager to join our branch located in Hillsboro, OR.

Position: Caregiver Manager (CGM)

The Caregiver Manager will supervise and lead a team of caregivers by training, developing and supporting them so they may thrive in their roles and provide quality care for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition: Discuss client needs and market insights.
• Engage New Caregivers: Prepare them for their first day prior to orientation.

• Assist HR: Facilitate progressive discipline as necessary.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate logs of caregiver communications and requests.
• Participate in Meetings: Engage in company meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to Policies: Follow all company and regulatory guidelines.
• Other Duties: As assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or senior care management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to enhancing the quality of life for caregivers and clients.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• 2-3 professional references.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a Point of Care software
• Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities in a caregiving or healthcare setting.

Pay Range: $24.04 - $28.85 / Hr
