Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Gresham, OR is hiring caring professionals to support clients in their homes. Day shifts M-F, pay $20-$21/hour, with paid training and mileage reimbursement. We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a supportive team that matches you with nearby clients.

No experience? We provide hands-on training and ongoing education; you’ll help with daily living activities, companionship, and safe transportation to appointments. Valid driver's license and vehicle preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift 10–50 lbs.
• Own a smartphone to use a mobile app.
• Pass a state and national background check.
• Able to transport clients in own vehicle.
• Complete required caregiver/HCA training as needed.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, clean driving record, reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare meals and help with eating.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Transport clients to store, appointments, and activities as needed.
• Maintain safety and monitor client condition and changes.

Pay: $20-$21 hr. depending on care given.

Current Needs

Day shifts M-F highly needed

• Most shifts start between 8am, 9am or 10am
• Caregivers willing to work with clients who smoke (both indoors and outdoors)
• Caregivers willing to work with pets in client's home
• Drivers who can transport in their own vehicle required
• Behavioral or memory care experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments (driving required)
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
