Village Caregiving in Dayton, Ohio is seeking Home Health Caregivers to help people in Piqua, Ohio and surrounding areas. Part-time and PRN available with potential for full time, plus bonuses and Daily Pay.

The role involves assisting clients with mobility and daily activities, light housekeeping, and observing health and safety standards. Must have caregiving experience or STNA license, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Past caregiver experience or STNA license.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary awareness.
• Respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene including bathing and toileting.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and exercises.
• Do client shopping or accompany to shops if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene including bathing and toileting

• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises

• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed

• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals

• Report any unusual incidents

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience or a STNA License

• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification preferred but not required

• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills

• Physical endurance to complete required tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver's License
