Village Caregiving in Dayton, Ohio is seeking Home Health Caregivers to assist clients in Dayton and surrounding areas. Part-time and PRN positions are available, with potential for full-time, bonuses, and daily pay.

Responsibilities include mobility and personal care assistance, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments while upholding safety and compassionate care. Requirements include STNA license or caregiver experience, CPR preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience or an STNA License is required.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies.

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene including bathing and toileting
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience or a STNA License
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification preferred but not required
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
