Job summary

Village Caregiving in Dayton, Ohio is seeking Home Health Caregivers to support clients in Kettering, Ohio and surrounding areas. This part-time/PRN role offers flexible scheduling, daily pay options and potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, personal care, light housekeeping, shopping, and coordinating transportation as needed. Requirements: STNA license or caregiver experience, current CPR preferred, valid driver's license, and compassionate,

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience or a STNA License.
• CPR Certification preferred but not required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene including bathing and toileting.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
