Job summary

Village Caregiving in Dayton, Ohio, is hiring Home Health Caregivers to support clients in Xenia and surrounding areas. We offer part-time and PRN roles with potential for full-time, bonuses, and daily pay to recognize your dedication.

You will assist with mobility, personal care, transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, meals, and monitoring for safety. A compassionate bedside manner, valid driver’s license, and prior caregiver experience or STNA license are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience or a STNA License.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary constraints.
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene including bathing and toileting.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
