Job summary

Village Caregiving in Dayton, Ohio is seeking Home Health Caregivers to support residents in Eaton, Ohio and nearby areas. Part-time and PRN positions with potential for full-time; bonuses and daily pay are offered.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, personal care, appointments, light housekeeping and meal preparation, plus reporting incidents and emergency responsiveness. Requirements include STNA license or caregiver experience, CPR preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience or a STNA License.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification preferred but not required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene including bathing and toileting
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
