Job summary

Village Caregiving in Dayton, Ohio is looking for Home Health Caregivers with serving hearts to help people in Dayton, Ohio and surrounding areas. The role offers part-time and PRN schedules with potential for full-time, plus bonuses and daily pay.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, personal care, light housekeeping and errands, while maintaining safety and quality of life for clients. A STNA license or prior caregiver experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience or a STNA License.
• Current CPR certification preferred but not required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene including bathing and toileting.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
