Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC is seeking adaptable, compassionate in-home caregivers to provide non-clinical care and support for seniors. You will help with ambulation, personal care, meal preparation, and transportation while ensuring safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred.
• Flexibility with client schedules and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions.

Job Description

You will be responsible for an individual's safety and well-being to provide supportive non-clinical care. Schedules may vary from 2‑hour shifts and beyond as we do care for some clients 24/7, so scheduling is flexible to either part time, full time, or as available. We are seeking adaptable, compassionate, honest, in‑home caregivers to provide the best care possible to seniors as well as others who need in‑home care.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up‑to‑date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in‑home, caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status

• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

Compensation

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
