Visiting Angels is hiring caring in-home caregivers to support clients across Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties in SC. You will assist with mobility, daily living tasks, meal prep, transportation, and companionship in clients' homes.

We value reliable, compassionate individuals with strong communication and a calm demeanor for handling emergencies and coordinating with families and staff.

Qualificações

• One year in-home caregiver experience preferred.
• Must adhere to plans of care and health and safety standards.
• Good communication and active listening with clients, families and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare light meals per dietary restrictions.
• Transport to shops, pharmacy or appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping for the client.
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up-to-date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home, caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
• Pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Medication reminders
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
• Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy or appointments
• Perform light housekeeping duties for the client
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion

Skills

• One year proven experience as a in-home caregiver (Preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsNO CNA LICENSE REQUIRED!

We service Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties, and surrounding areas in SC.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
