Visiting Angels in Charleston, SC seeks adaptable in-home caregivers to support clients with daily living activities and compassionate companionship. Flexible shifts range from 2-hour to 12-hour blocks, including evenings and weekends, to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, reminders for medications, personal care, light meals, errands, and housework. Previous caregiving experience is preferred, with in-house training and a family-oriented environment offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, working vehicle, and current, up-to-date insurance.
• Must adhere to plans of care for the client.
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs.
• One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred.

Job Description

You will be responsible for an individual's safety and well-being to provide supportive non-clinical care. Schedules may vary from 4-hour shifts and beyond as we do care for some clients 24/7, so scheduling is flexible to either part-time, full-time, or as available. We are seeking adaptable, compassionate, honest, in-home caregivers to provide the best care possible to seniors as well as others who need in-home care.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required, and current, up-to-date insurance

• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff

Compensation

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
