Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring compassionate caregivers to help older adults live safely and joyfully at home in Northeast Ohio. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and support families with a caring, respectful approach.

Flexible schedules and ongoing training are offered, with mileage reimbursement and referral bonuses. Driver's license is preferred and eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, reliability, and a heart for serving older adults.
• Background check and motor vehicle screening completed.
• Reliable transportation to assignments; driver’s license preferred; must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care: companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, safety support
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, and safe mobility (training provided)
• Engage with clients - doing tasks with them, not just for them
• Bring joy by participating in activities they enjoy, conversation, hobbies, shared tasks, or outings
• Build trusted, respectful relationships with clients and their families
• Communicate observations and updates to the office
